EDGA continues to expand its R&D segment by now looking at more suitable equipment to facilitate better contact and ball flight control for new golfers playing from a seated position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new club which would be a premier in golf club manufacture will enable golfers with impairments who are unable to stand to experience and play the game – EDGA’s research has shown that many wheelchair users dismiss golf as a sporting option as the equipment is a barrier, made for people playing from a standing position and bending forward often too heavy and too long to enable consistent playability from a seated position – Once produced this new pioneering innovation will also have options to change various playing components of the club including: shaft weight, flex and length, handle size and orientation. Utilising Ping’s expertise to match materials which will maximise clubhead speed for seated players – The prototype will be tried and tested and refined with new sampler seated golfers before these will become available to purchase in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
